Joy of giving!!!!!

MEALS!!!!!thought of empty stomach...

Hi friends....

I am here to share one of the most amazing experience of my life that turned out from past 3days.Dont know how to put across as there are no words to explain the tremendous three days which has built up a sweet memory in my heart and soul........

Buddies i know you would be wondering what i am up to!!!!!!!here i am to spill the showers of my happiness which i had never got in my past...I am proud to say that "I HAVE SHARED A PART OF MY MEAL WITH THE NEEDY"........

Here i go with my experience of donating meals which caught my heart and soul for the lifetime...

Every person on this earth waste food if not daily atleast once in a while...My dear friends please its my strong request do not waste food...Your one spoon of wasting food fills the stomach of a needy..

I realized the very truth of the point that i said above only when i donated a meal to the needy..

with the zeal to experience the joy of sharing a part of my meal wit the empty stomach needy people i thought majestic would be the best place..I kick started my enthusiasm at Majestic at around 2:30 in the afternoon...Roamed roamed roamed roamed!!!!!walked to every corner of majestic!!!!!hufffff.......could not find even a single person....still i dint give up...moved on and on and on........Finally a old grandpa was near a temple...Seeing him my face turned with a big smile..i went intracted with old grandpa...he treated me as his own grandchild...It was such an amazing experience...Felt so Blessed!!!!!!with such got interaction with him i forgot about how much i got tiered of roaming all over majestic... such a brilliant bonding it was...

Finally i donated a meal..grandpa tooo took it whole heartedly...then moved on to find more and more people through whom i could find a infinite satifaction..

My dear friends the main lessons that i learnt from this is

"Have dedication,satisfaction and love on which ever work you do"

"Do such a work which brings you the atmost feeling to be proud in society" 

"Earn your abilities through experience"

LEO GOODWIN

Leo Goodwin was born in 1886,Missouri.His father was a doctor by profession and used to travel on horses to see his patients.Leo by profession is a business men,philanthropist and founder of GEICO.

Leo completed his education as a accountant entered insurance business in San Antonia,Texas. As he became more experienced in the field of business , he came to a conclusion that industry could better serve its costumers and reduce costs by eliminating sales commission to produce premiums and directly dealing with policy holders.With this vision he founded Government employes insurance company(GIECO) in 1936.

In 1940.company experienced the taste of profit . In 1948,GIECO became publicly owned an today it has assets of $7.3 billion.

By the end of 1936, 3700 GIECO policies were in force with the 12 staff working in the company.

He believed that " if he lowered the cost in the company by marketing directly to the customers then he would be able to pass lower premiums and still can earn profits.

Leo and his wife used to work 12 hours a day to standardize the company.

In 2001, his name was given to the Insurance Hall of the Fame .

Leo was a large donor to Nova Southeastern University and he was considered as one of the primary founders .

Building that contains the University law school i,e Shepard Broad Law Center is housed in Leo Goodwin hall which is named for generous entrepreneur and visionary who was committed to advancement of education and research.

In shepard Board law center distinguished invites and legal scholars spend time to teach a seminar with the members of law center faculty,students and alumini.  

GIECO is third biggest direct writer of private auto insurance in America. 

 

ALVIN AILEY

ALVIN AILEY

Alvin was born on January 5, 1931 in Texas.Alvin was a choreographer and founder of American dance theater in 1958. He became a leading figure of 20th century modern dance.

                                                           

Alvin grew up poor in a small town of Navasota.His father left him and his mother when Alvin was very young.Later he drew inspiration from black church services,a local dance hall.At the age of 12,he left Texas and moved to Los Angels.

In Los Angels,he was proved to be a gifted student in many ways.He excelled in languages and athletics.

After seeing the Ballet Russ e De Monte Carlo perform,Alvin was inspired to pursue dancing.He began studying modern dance Horten in 1949.

 

In1954,Alvin made his broadway debut In Truman Capote's short lived musical "House of Flowers".

Alvin served as lead dancer in another Broadway  musical Jamaica starring Lena Horne and Ricardo Montal Ban in 1957.

While in New York Alvin had a chance to study dance with Martha Graham and acting with Sletla Adler.

Alvin achieved the greatest fame with his own dance company tat was founded in 1958.Same year he debuted Blues suite,a piece that drew from his southern roots.

His another major work was  'Revelations',which drew inspiration from African American music of his youth.

According to Alvin American dance theater website Revelations came from Ailvin's "Blood memories of his childhood" in Texas and Baptist church .

In 1960's Alvin took his company on road .The US state department sponsored his tour which helped create his international reputation.

He stopped performing in mid 1960's but he continued to choreograph numerous masterpieces.

Alvin's Masakala language which probed the experience being black in South Africa,premiered in 1969.

He also founded Alvin Ailey American dance center the same year.He also expanded his company by establishing Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble the same year.

During his career Alvin choreographed 80 ballets.

In 1988 he was honored by Kennedy center for his contribution to the arts..

Alvin died at the age of 58,on December 1,1989 at Lenox Hill hospital,New York.

After the death of Alvin even today his work is being appreciated and inspired by many..

 

ADOLF DASSLER

ADOLF DASSLER  

Adolf Dassler was born in 1900 in Germany.Adolf was inspired  by the single idea when he made his first shoes in 1920.He made his first shoes at the age of 20.His main aim was to provide every athlete with best footwear for the respective disciplines.

Adolf made his first shoes from the few materials that were available during war period i,e the only material available was canvas.He himself was very passionate about the athlete and was in close contact  with the sports athletes.He made a point to be present at all the sports events that was his passion towards sports.Adolf focused mainly on the classic disciples of field and track.

Athletes wore a special shoes from his workshop for the first time at 1928 Olympics game  in Amsterdam.In 1920,Adolf started experimenting with spikes.

In  mid 1930's Adolf started making 30 different shoes for eleven sports with 100 employers working on it.In two decades Adidas became a world's leading manufacturer of sport's shoe.

After the second world war in 1947,he began with 42 employers implimenting the pre-war knowlegde gained along with new ideas.He made first post-war shoes using canvas and rubber from American fuel tanks.

In 1948 he introduced ''ADIDAS'' as a company name.

A tremendous Breakthrough came when Germany team won soccer world cup in 1954 against Hungary as German team had worn boots with screws and studs that was manufactured by Adidas.

Adolf became the first entrepreneur to promote sports to make the public aware of his innovation.He started using well known athletes for sports advertisements.Jesse Qwens,Muhammed Ali etc...were family friends of Adolf.

Adolf along with his son Horst Adi created an international company that is still present in all the World's sporting events.

In mid 1960's he started manufacturing of sports apparel for competitions.
In 1963 started with the manufacturing of ball and ever since 1970 , offical match ball at all major soccer events.

Adolf died in 1978,at the age of 78.Following his death his wife Kathe and son Horst took over the charge of running the company.Horst is also responsible for establishing the brand in France.
Horst died unexpectedly in 1987 at the age of 51.

In 1989,the Adidas was transformed into a corporation.
At the beginning of 1990, after difficult transition period Adidas returned to its roots.

In 1991,Adidas launched Adidas equipment and a line of performance oriented functional footwear and apparel.
In 1993, Robert Louis Dryfus took over the management of the company.
In 1997,Adidas AG and Salomon group combined to form Adidas Salomon AG.

On January 31,2006 Reebok international Ltd.was acquired providing new Adidas group with a footprint around 9.5 billion in global athletic apparel and hardware markets.

Shiv Nadar was born in 1945 in Moolaipozhi village,Tutocorin district,Tamilnadu.

Father: Sivasubramaniya.

Mother:Vamasundari Devi.

Shiv completed his graduation from American college,Madurai and also completed his engineering in electricals and electronics branch from PSG college of technology.

He started his career at Walchand group's cooper of  engineering in Pune in 1967.

Shiv Nadar is a top entrepreneur,chairperson and chief stratergy officer at HCL technologies.a global IT service company with its head quater in Noida,India.

He is the richest person and a billionaire of worth 4.2 billion dollars.He founded HCL technologies in mid 1970's and transformed IT hardware company to IT enterprise over three decades.

Shiv along with Ajai Chowdary,Chairmen HCL infosystems,Arjun Malhotra,Subhash Arora,Yogesh Vaidya and DS puri started with the micro computer to sell teledigital calculater with the called "tele vista".

He later started HCL in 1976 with investment of 1,87,000 along with six founders.Company enjoyed unexpected profits when IBM left India.This provided a wide market exposure for his microcomputer in India.

Shiv along with three others started with NIIT,with need for computer education in the society.He was the largest shareholder in NIIT.He held his shareholding till 2003.

In 1984 he also started with HCL office of automation.This became India's leading office solutions.He also developed a personal computer solution called Burybee and UNIX platform based solution.By 1987 HCL ranked India's number one company.

HCL America was setup in 1989.Due his wrong assumption about what market needs,led to drastic loss in World's largest market.Later HCL joined HP and created a joint venture..In mid 90's Shiv ventured inyo a sale agreement with Nokia and Sony ericson to promote their product in India.

He shifted his focus from IT hardware to IT services.HCL-HP merged into HP and the joint venture broke.

By 1998,Nadar had established five companies:HCL technologies,HCL infosystems,HCL comnet,HCL perot,NIIT.

In 2007, Vineet Nayan was titled as CEO of HCL technologies and Nadar continues to be the chairmen.

Donald John Trump was born on June 14,1946 in Queens,New York.Donald's father Fred Trump is a development and marketing head of real estate in New York.He completed his schooling at Kere forest school in Queens.He was passionate about football and baseball as well.Donald participated in various football and baseball matches and won prises.

After graduation in 1968,in bachelor of Economics he joined his fathers real estate company.

In his book Trump:"The art of the deal " Donald expressed his thoughts of his life at university.

At the age of 13yrs his parents sent him to military school in New York.Trump became a honorary worker in the campus NYMA(New York  military Academy). 

He began his career in his fathers company.Trump organization mainly concentrates on the areas of middle class rental housing.One of his first projects were renovating Swifton village apartment complex in Cincinnati,Ohio.He converted 1200 unit apartment complex and the rates from 60% to 100%.When selling back Swifton village to $12 million ,Trump organization got a  profit of $6 million.He also successfully developed the field of property for Javits convention centre .

 One of his projects worth $110 million was made New York pay between $750million to $1billion.

In 1990,as an effect of recission,Trump had a trouble paying its debts.He even faced problems of paying loans ovar three casines equal to one billion dollars with high rate of interest.Although he had to maintain his business with additional loans , skyrocketing debt also added another debt problem.

On novemeber 2,1992 Trump plaza hotel was forced to pay 49% of its profit to the banks as he was not able to pay the loan.

In 1994, he lost 900 million dollars from his personal account and a even saw a drastic loss in the business sector of 3.5 billionn dollars.

According to the former members of Trump organisation,Trump did not return all his ownership of real estate.Owner of thr real estate promiced to pay 30% of the profit when buildings has been built or sold.Until then owner had to built a working Trump organization.

Donald appeared in the media with the animated version of TV serials and Home alone 2. In 2004 he became executive producer and host of NBC reality show.In 2007 he recieved a award for the Apprentice program by recieving a star on hollywood walk of the fame.He is also a fan of wrestling entertainment.

Miss Universe organization owned by Trump and NBC produces Miss Universe.Miss USA,Miss teen USA.

In 2005 he launched a business education company called Trump University.In January  2006 he launched an online travel website Gotrump.com.

Today Trump name is associated not only with real estate but also with everything from bottled water to Vodka to disposal cups..
